I quit smoking a year ago after years of trying and failing. I had tried the gum, and the patches, but it nothing really worked for me. Eventually I got a job working at a vape shop, and ended up switching to vaping, mostly because it was just more practical at the time. Once I did that, it got easier to manage my nicotine intake, since I didn’t need to change my routines anymore to do it.
